What is this?
THE GOODZ Volume 2/ Sample Pack is a complete pack, including all the elements needed to write genre blending heavy bass music. What makes this pack live up to its name is that it is not limited to one genre, these sounds are suitable for many genres. It is made up of three parts Drums, Bass, and Sound Effects. There are loops and 1-shots filling each part that are labeled with their key and tempo if it is applicable. I have found that if those elements are not always dictated, more creativity can be had. If it doesn’t have a key on it, simply use a tuner to see if it has one, otherwise use it as a C min or F Min in a sampler. Many of these samples were created at either 85, 144, or 172 bpms. But again don’t let that dictate your creativity. If it says Fmin, throw it in a sampler, tune it to that F root key and play it like a piano. I recommend this with all the ‘synth samplers’ or in part two! Also don’t sleep on all the textures and sound effects in Part three, they can add a lot of character to a hollow, plain or empty song.
